The Swinging Bass 6-piece band has played at a fantastic country wedding at Long Meadow Farm, Keyham, Leicestershire. The barn was like a marquee inside and with amazing decorations.

We played 2 sets of swing and a set of pop covers. What a fantastic reaction we had from the guests! They loved our mix of music!!

It was an added all star line up too. Our trumpeter, Dave Tibbitts, played at Glastonbury recently and our sax player, Sam Adams, is a regular with the nationally touring Phil Collins tribute band, And Finally. Not forgetting Neil Hunter, Andy Richardson and Andy Kirkland too!

The Swinging Bass Band at Embrace Arts, Leicester

“..smooth, accessible, yet a captivating night” was how the Leicester Mercury described the band when it played at Embrace Arts at the Richard Attenborough Centre, Lancaster Road, Leicester, LE1 7HA in October 2010.

We have been invited back for another concert of Michael Bublé, Sinatra, and the Best of Swinging Jazz. The 5-piece band will include Chris Proctor (sax), a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire this time, the amazing Neil Hunter (keyboards), the wonderful Dave Nock (vocals/guitar), and one of the best drummers in the Midlands, Andy Richardson. The band will be led by double bass player, Andy Kirkland.

The band has played at about 300 weddings, parties and corporate events over the last few years.

Its £8, but £5 for students.

Hope to see you there!
