The Swinging Bass Band has played at eight fantastic venues this summer. Three vocal clips from those venues. Hear the band play Joe Williams’ Everyday I Have The Blues; Frank Sinatra’s You Make Me Feel So Young; & Etta James’ signature song, At Last.
The Swinging Bass Trio played at the National Trust’s Packwood House, near Solihull, recently. The evening was for the volunteers and the trio from Swinging Bass Band played quiet background music.
It was a little wet outside so the trio played Here’s That Rainy day, Singing In The Rain and Stormy Weather. They seemed very appropriate!
The Swinging Bass Band is playing at the National Trust’s Upton House & Gardens Summertime Jazz Night on Saturday 29th July 2017 from 7.00-9.00pm. Lots of music composed in the 1920′s and with the 5-piece band and you can join a short jazz taster dance class too.
Enjoy an evening of jazz music in the open air. Bring a picnic, treat yourself to a drink from the bar and relax on the grass on a lovely summer evening.

The band has now played at about 400 social occasions, corporate gatherings, themed events & high-end weddings.
You can see the band live last summer at a recreated War Wedding Weekend at:
The Swinging Bass band has recently played at an informal evening at the Regent Jazz Club, Leicester.
The band played a great mix of Sinatra, Rat Pack, Swinging Jazz and Michael Bublé. People in the audience were saying that it was the best band they had ever heard! We had some of the audience dancing too – at a jazz club!
