The Swinging Bass Trio from the larger Swinging Bass Band, has played at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Solihull, for a Rotary Club Dinner.
The trio played quiet background music and after the dinner we played more up tempo music. The guests really enjoyed the music, were full of praise and invited the trio back!
The trio from The Swinging Bass Band has played at a commemoration of the 1918 Armistice at Hoby Village Hall, Leicestershire.
The Leicestershire village organised the event very well and there were 85 guests.
We played lots of First World War songs and were joined by two fantastic local singers. We ended with “There Will Always Be An England” and “Land Of Hope And Glory” with the guests joining in and waving Union Jack flags.
It was a fantastic afternoon!!
