2018 HIGHLIGHT. The Swinging Bass Trio playing at a ROTARY CLUB DINNER
The Swinging Bass Trio from the larger Swinging Bass Band, has played at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Solihull, for a Rotary Club Dinner.
The trio played quiet background music and after the dinner we played more up tempo music. The guests really enjoyed the music, were full of praise and invited the trio back!

The band has played at the Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire, for two summer parties – one for the volunteers and one for the village and parish. They were a lovely summer evenings.

2017 Highlight! Outdoor Summer Concert at Brinton Park, Kidderminster
The Swinging Bass Band played in Brinton Park, Kidderminster as part of the Summer Bands in the Park Series of events.
We played lots of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Jazz and Swing Music. A really enjoyable afternoon!
This was the last in our summer run of 8 performances at Upton House near Banbury, Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes, Lacock Abbey Wiltshire, and Packwood House near Solihull.
2017 Highlight! The Swinging Bass Trio played at the National Trust’s Packwood House, near Solihull.
The Swinging Bass Trio played at the National Trust’s Packwood House, near Solihull, in late July for a social evening thanking the volunteers for their time and contributions. The trio, saxophone, keyboard & double bass, played background music which was tuneful, allowing the guests to chat and enjoy the evening.
Highlight! The Swinging Bass Band at Upton House for the 1940’s Wedding Weekend
The Swinging Bass Band has played at the National Trust’s Upton House for their 1940’s Wedding Weekend.
Here is a video of the band playing “Everyday I Have The Blues”. What a fantastic weekend it was. The dancers, the audience and visitors to Upton House loved it!!
A Fantastic Birthday party at Stone Manor Hotel, Kidderminster.
The Swinging Bass Band (www.TheSwingingBass.co.uk) has played at a fantastic 80th Birthday Party with about 130 invited guests at Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel, Kidderminster.
The band played a mix of Sinatra, swing music and some pop covers.

Summer Parties at Lacock Abbey
There have been two amazing Summer Parties at Lacock Abbey that The Swinging Bass Band has recently played at. One was for the National Trust Volunteers and the other for the village and parish. We played a mix of jazz & swing, with Sinatra & Nat King Cole hits.
The weather was perfect, the sun was out, not a drop of rain, and great to see so many people there!
