2018 HIGHLIGHT! The Swinging Bass Band playing at the Charles Booth Centre, Thringstone, Leicestershire
The Swinging Bass Band has played a concert of Frank Sinatra, swing music and entertaining jazz at the Charles Booth Centre, (formerly Thringstone Community Centre), Thringstone, Leicestershire. It was a fantastic night! The band and the audience both enjoyed the evening. Then, the audience only let the band leave the stage after an encore!

The Swinging Bass Trio to play on Remembrance Sunday, in Hoby Leicestershire, commemorating the end of the First World War. The event is organised by the Hoby and District Local History Society.
We will play background music, including some songs from the era, for the society during lunch and the afternoon.
The Swinging Bass Trio at a Rotary Club Dinner in Solihull
The Swinging Bass Trio from the larger Swinging Bass Band, has played at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Solihull, for a Rotary Club Dinner.
The trio played quiet background music and after the dinner we played more up tempo music. The guests really enjoyed the music, were full of praise and have invited the trio back!.

The Swinging Bass Band is playing at the National Trust’s Upton House & Gardens Summertime Jazz Night on Saturday 29th July 2017 from 7.00-9.00pm. Lots of music composed in the 1920’s and with the 5-piece band and you can join a short jazz taster dance class too.
Enjoy an evening of jazz music in the open air. Bring a picnic, treat yourself to a drink from the bar and relax on the grass on a lovely summer evening.

The Swinging Bass Quartet at the Mill Arts, Banbury, for a 30th Wedding Anniversary
The Swinging Bass Quartet has played at the Mill Arts Centre, Banbury, for a 30th Wedding Anniversary. It was a fantastic event, the room was decorated, the guests were well fed and ready to party.
We played background music while the chatted and enjoyed the buffet, then the band stepped up a gear and the guest came onto the floor and we saw some fantastic dancing!

The Swinging Bass band has recently played at an informal evening at the Regent Jazz Club, Leicester.
The band played a great mix of Sinatra, Rat Pack, Swinging Jazz and Michael BublĂ©. People in the audience were saying that it was the best band they had ever heard! We had some of the audience dancing too – at a jazz club!
