This was a request at a wedding anniversary we played at a few months before.

Highlight of 2019. The Swinging Bass Trio at the Village Hotel, Walsall
The Swinging Bass Trio was invited to play at the Village Hotel, Walsall, for a private function.
The guests celebrated their 50th year anniversary – they met in late 1960’s. In addition to our repertoire of Gershwin, and American Songbook standards we played some of the very memorable songs from the 1960’s & 70’s.

The Swinging Bass Band has recently played a jazz club gig at Regent Jazz Leicester.
The band played a mix of jazz, swing, Sinatra and great standards.
We also have had an amazing summer of great gigs at great venues!

The Swinging Bass Trio has been invited to play very soon at the Village Hotel, Walsall, for a private function.
The guests are celebrating their 50th anniversary – they met in 1960 – so in addition to our repertoire of Gershwin, and American Songbook standards we will play some of the very memorable songs from the 1960’s.
THE SWINGINGBASS BAND at WIGHTWICK MANOR, WOLVERHAMPTON
On Saturday & Sunday 21 & 22 September, Wightwick Manor and Gardens will be open for free, in the re-imagining of the 1902 Coronation Garden Party held in the grounds.
The Swinging Bass Band will be playing at regular intervals; there’s a Punch and Judy show; games and races on the lawn; family crafts; and lots of other surprising things to enjoy!

We will play Jazz, Swing, Sinatra Nat King Cole and Rat Pack classics!

The Swinging Bass Trio to play at Croft Castle Herefordshire.
The Swinging Bass Trio (sax, keyboard & double bass) will be playing at the National Trust’s Croft Castle, Herefordshire, as a part of their Forties Music weekend on Saturday 22nd June.
Step back in time to the 1940s and expect lots of great music from that period.
Booking is not needed and normal admission prices will apply, but its free to National Trust members!

The Swinging Bass Trio at a surprise 60th Birthday Party
The Trio from The Swinging Bass Band has played in Northamptonshire at a surprise 60th Birthday party lunch. Close family and friends were invited to this wonderful early summer party.
The trio played, as requested, a selection of French songs and a mix of Sinatra-style standards, bossa novas and ballads.
