The Swinging Bass Trio has recently played at the National Trust’s Croft Castle as a part of their 1940′s weekend of music.
It was a superb afternoon and the visitors really enjoyed the period music.

The Swinging Bass Trio at a surprise 60th Birthday Party

Swinging Bass Trio, Arthingworth, Birthday Party
The Trio from The Swinging Bass Band has played in Northamptonshire at a surprise 60th Birthday party lunch. Close family and friends were invited to this wonderful early summer party.
The trio played, as requested, a selection of French songs and a mix of Sinatra-style standards, bossa novas and ballads.

The trio played quiet background music and after the dinner we played more up tempo music. The guests really enjoyed the music and were full of praise.

The Swinging Bass Trio from the larger Swinging Bass Band, has played at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Solihull, for a Rotary Club Dinner.
The trio played quiet background music and after the dinner we played more up tempo music. The guests really enjoyed the music, were full of praise and invited the trio back!

The Swinging Bass Band at Hoby’s Armistice Commemoration.

The trio from The Swinging Bass Band has played at a commemoration of the 1918 Armistice at Hoby Village Hall, Leicestershire.
The Leicestershire village organised the event very well and there were 85 guests.

We played lots of First World War songs and were joined by two fantastic local singers. We ended with “There Will Always Be An England” and “Land Of Hope And Glory” with the guests joining in and waving Union Jack flags.
It was a fantastic afternoon!!

2017 Highlight. The Swinging Bass Band at Lacock Abbey

The band has played at the Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire, for two summer parties – one for the volunteers and one for the village and parish. They were a lovely summer evenings.

What an amazing venue Bletchley Park is!
The Swinging Bass Band has played at Bletchley Park as a part of its Fabulous Fifties event. It was a gloriously sunny summer afternoon. The band played the 1950′s music of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and some Rock & Roll.

2017 Highlight! Outdoor Summer Concert at Brinton Park, Kidderminster

The Swinging Bass Band played in Brinton Park, Kidderminster as part of the Summer Bands in the Park Series of events.
We played lots of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Jazz and Swing Music. A really enjoyable afternoon!
This was the last in our summer run of 8 performances at Upton House near Banbury, Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes, Lacock Abbey Wiltshire, and Packwood House near Solihull.

2017 Highlight! The Swinging Bass Trio played at the National Trust’s Packwood House, near Solihull.

The Swinging Bass Trio played at the National Trust’s Packwood House, near Solihull, in late July for a social evening thanking the volunteers for their time and contributions. The trio, saxophone, keyboard & double bass, played background music which was tuneful, allowing the guests to chat and enjoy the evening.
