The Swinging Bass provides high quality jazz and swing music in the form of a jazz and swing wedding band or a trio. We can provide either lively wedding entertainment for you and your guests to dance the night away or quiet sophisticated background music for your wedding or event. We specialise in playing our music at weddings and corporate events in the Leicester and surrounding Midlands area. Our musicians play to a very high standard and you can listen to a selection of samples on Our Repertoire page. Along with playing our music at weddings and corporate events our band also regularly play at anniversaries, birthday parties and military base functions. Any event can be catered for so please complete our Enquiry Form if you have any questions. The Trio (consisting of saxophone, keyboard & double bass) is ideal for receptions where background music is needed to set and maintain a relaxed atmosphere. Civil ceremony wedding music can also be provided and is completely unobtrusive whilst providing a dramatic entrance for the bride. The Four, Five or Six Piece Swing, Jazz & Wedding Band caters for a wide age range and provides music for the evening event. It features the ever popular music of Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack and the swing style of many others. We also feature some pop classics, jazz and even waltzes if you want them! The Swinging Bass wedding band has played at over 130 weddings throughout Leicester and the Midlands during the past five and half years.
